Help with a mystery track from around 1993

Hello! I am new here, but I grew up listening to B96, in the mornings, in the mid 90's. A core memory of mine is a song that I heard a couple of times around 1993 or so, but I never got the name of it. I know this is rather vague, but this is a musical mystery that I've been trying to solve for over a decade now. These are the details that I can recall:
I know that that this is quite a vague question given that it's 30+ year old song I heard in high school on a morning show. Thank you in advance for any help with identifying this song.
- There is a riff, or sample, or melody that was used in the song that sounded like the instrument that was used in first few seconds of Robin S' "Show Me Love". Listen to the first 4 seconds of that song and that guttural sound is what I'm talking about.
- There was, I think, 2 vocalist: a female main vocalist and a male that sang the chorus.
- The chorus had a line that was on repeat, I believe went like this: "Movin' it to the rhythm, movin' it to the rhythm, movin' it to the rhythm...to the rhythm of the...beat."
