I just looked through some B96 radio surveys from eBay and they featured year-end countdowns for 1989 and 1990. As a result, I updated the previous thread to reorganize the songs based on where they ranked on the countdown and the songs that didn't make the countdown are listed alphabetically by artist.

The 1989 survey only counted down the top 40 songs of the year while the 1990 survey expands to 96 (referencing the station's FM frequency). This likely means that the 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994 year-end countdowns had 96 songs just like 1995 onward did.

As for the 1989 year-end list, it also featured a top 20 albums of 1989 list, which featured artists that weren't even played on B96 throughout the year, such as Guns N Roses, Tom Petty, etc.
