This is my first time contributing to your page, as I learned of you traveling through to Minnesota in 1995 and hearing the Party Radio era of B96.'
I've noticed that there are a couple of tribute stations online which honor the past music, such as in NYC with Hot 97 and Philadelphia with WFIL. Is there any talk of maybe bringing a "Party Radio B96" tribute station anytime soon? NOBODY had what B96 had in the 1990s and stations refused to copy that energy. And now...it is impossible on commercial radio since it is so controlled.
Tribute station?

Re: Tribute station?
There used to be a B96 tribute station called Dance Beat Radio. Unfortunately, it shut down earlier this year. There's also [External Link Removed for Guests], which plays old B96 music and dance music during the weekend. It shut down sometime last year but relaunched on Mixcloud recently.
The best option so far is [External Link Removed for Guests], which plays classic dance music from the WBMX 80s, B96 90s and Energy 92.7 early 2k eras every night. They play 70s/80s/90s pop, R&B & disco music during the day and mixes every Saturday night.
There's also the [External Link Removed for Guests], which sometimes plays the old B96 music. They also play mixes. However, musically the station is all over the place as they randomly play Caribbean/reggaeton music, rap, pop and so on. There's also a repetition issue is you listen too regularly.
There's also the Party Zone on [External Link Removed for Guests] every Friday and Saturday nights.
As for classic dance outside Chicago, there are two Miami-based online stations called [External Link Removed for Guests] and [External Link Removed for Guests], both of which are a tribute to WPOW Power 96. You already mentioned NY's Hot 97 (the dance years between 1986 and 1993) but there are TWO Live 365 stations based on how that station sounded before the change to hip hop. [External Link Removed for Guests] and [External Link Removed for Guests]. Another NY-based classic dance & freestyle station is [External Link Removed for Guests].
